Product Description
The expansion tank, also known as the coolant overflow or header tank, stores excess coolant displaced as the engine reaches operating temperature and returns it to the cooling system as it cools. This clear plastic variant allows visual inspection of coolant level without removing the cap, aiding in early detection of coolant loss that can indicate head gasket failure, hose deterioration, or a cracked tank. A faulty or opaque tank makes it impossible to monitor coolant levels accurately, increasing the risk of overheating.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
