Product Description
The idler pulley is a tensioning and routing component within the accessory belt drive system on the 3.0L M57 and 2.0L M47 BMW diesel engines. It maintains correct belt alignment and tension as the belt runs between driven accessories, reducing friction and preventing belt slip or mistrack. A worn idler pulley typically presents as a squealing or rumbling noise from the front of the engine and, if left unaddressed, can cause belt failure and subsequent loss of ancillary systems.

Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
