Rear body shims are precision spacers used to set and maintain correct alignment between the body tub and chassis on the Land Rover Defender. They compensate for manufacturing tolerances and correct body alignment during reassembly following chassis repairs, body lifts, or corrosion-related work. Using incorrect or worn shims can result in misaligned body panels, door gaps out of tolerance, and accelerated wear on body mounting points.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
