Product Description
The expansion tank cap seals the cooling system's pressure recovery circuit, maintaining the correct system pressure to raise the coolant's boiling point and prevent cavitation. On the 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engines and V8 petrol units fitted to these Land Rovers, a faulty cap can cause coolant loss, overheating, and repeated low-level warnings as the pressure relief valve fails to hold or release correctly. Replacing a worn or deformed cap restores the designed operating pressure and protects the radiator and hoses from pressure spikes.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
