Product Description
The radiator pressure cap for the expansion tank maintains the correct system pressure within the cooling circuit, raising the boiling point of coolant and preventing cavitation or boil-over. On TD5-engined Defenders, a faulty or worn pressure cap is a common cause of coolant loss, overheating, and collapsed hoses, as the valve fails to hold or release pressure at the correct threshold. Using the correct rated replacement cap is essential to avoid repeat failures or damage to hoses and the expansion tank itself.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
