Product Description
The radiator expansion tank (also known as a coolant overflow or header tank) stores excess coolant displaced by thermal expansion and maintains correct system pressure in the closed-loop cooling circuit. This version includes an integrated coolant level sensor, which triggers a dashboard warning when fluid drops below the minimum threshold - a common failure point on Discovery 3 and 4 models that can mask slow coolant loss from leaking hoses or the EGR cooler. Replacing a cracked or sensor-faulty tank restores accurate level monitoring and prevents air ingestion into the cooling system.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
