Product Description
This kit contains the replacement pistons and seals required to rebuild the front brake calipers on early Discovery 1 models fitted with solid front discs. The front caliper pistons are responsible for applying hydraulic pressure to the brake pads against the disc; worn or corroded pistons and deteriorated seals result in brake fluid leaks, uneven pad wear, and reduced braking efficiency. Rebuilding the caliper with fresh pistons and seals restores correct hydraulic function without requiring full caliper replacement.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
