Product Description
The FRC8002 is a lock washer fitted to the drive shaft on early Land Rover axles, functioning to secure the drive flange retaining nut and prevent it from backing off under rotational load and vibration. Without a serviceable lock washer, the drive flange nut can loosen progressively, leading to play in the drive shaft, accelerated bearing wear, and potential loss of drive. Replacing this washer during any drive shaft or hub overhaul is essential to maintaining correct preload and torque retention.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
