Prop Coupling Incl Bolts - Rear for Discovery 1 (1989 – 1998) Rear (From TA500000, Up to VA541627) – TVF100010G
Product Description
The propshaft coupling, also known as a flex disc or Hardy Spicer coupling, connects the propshaft to the differential or transfer case output flange on the rear driveline. It absorbs rotational shock and vibration between the transmission and axle, reducing stress on both the propshaft universal joints and the differential. A worn or cracked coupling causes driveline shudder, clunking on acceleration or overrun, and accelerated wear to adjacent drivetrain components. This part is supplied complete with the required bolts.
Key Features
- Supplied as a complete assembly including mounting bolts, ensuring correct torque specification can be achieved on installation
- Rear propshaft application - fits between the rear propshaft flange and rear differential input
- OEM reference TVF100010G for accurate fitment to specified vehicles
- Inspect universal joints and propshaft centre bearing simultaneously, as coupling wear often occurs alongside deterioration of these components
Vehicle Fitment
Fits Discovery 1 (1989–1998), Discovery 2 (1998–2004), Range Rover P38 (1995–2002 up to TA321929), and Range Rover Classic (up to MA647645), all rear propshaft applications.
