Product Description
This 0.60mm shim is used in the axle assemblies of Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic models to set precise bearing preload and component alignment within the differential or hub assembly. Correct shim thickness is critical to maintaining proper load distribution across bearings; an incorrect shim can result in premature bearing wear, excessive play, or differential noise. Shimming should always be measured and verified during axle rebuild or bearing replacement.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
