Product Description
This taper plug is a threaded sealing component used to close off unused or redundant ports, galleries, and apertures in engine blocks, cylinder heads, and ancillary housings. On Land Rover applications, taper plugs are commonly found sealing oil galleries, coolant passages, and casting holes in the block; a weeping or displaced plug can result in oil or coolant loss and potential component damage. Correct thread form and taper angle are essential to achieving a reliable seal without distortion of the surrounding casting.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
