Product Description
This is a coolant temperature sensor located in the thermostat housing, designed to monitor engine coolant temperature and relay real-time data to the ECU on 4.4 AJ V8 and 4.2 V8 Supercharged petrol engines. The ECU uses this signal to regulate fuel trim, ignition timing, and cooling fan operation. A faulty sensor can cause erratic temperature gauge readings, poor cold-start fuelling, increased emissions, or the engine running rich due to the ECU defaulting to a cold-engine map.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
