Product Description
The LR012640 is a sump-mounted oil level sensor assembly used in Land Rover's 3.0L diesel, 4.4L diesel, and 5.0L V8 petrol engines. It monitors engine oil level and temperature from within the sump, feeding data to the ECU to trigger dashboard warnings when oil falls below safe thresholds. A faulty sensor can result in false low-oil warnings, suppressed alerts during actual oil loss, or diagnostic fault codes relating to the oil monitoring circuit.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
