Exhaust Manifold Gasket for Series 1 Normally for 6cyl but can be used for 1600 petrol – RTC3326
Product Description
The RTC3326 is an exhaust manifold gasket designed to seal the joint between the exhaust manifold and the cylinder head on Land Rover Series petrol engines. This seal prevents exhaust gas leakage at the manifold face, which if compromised causes audible ticking or blowing noises under load, potential heat damage to surrounding components, and inaccurate fuelling on engines with downstream sensors. Correct replacement with a properly specified gasket is essential to maintain exhaust flow integrity and engine bay safety.
Key Features
- Designed primarily for the 2.6 litre 6-cylinder petrol engine; also applicable to 1595cc and 2.0 litre petrol units
- On 6-cylinder applications, three individual gaskets are supplied, each covering a two-cylinder pairing across the manifold
- Meets OEM replacement specification for Series 1, 2, 2A, and 3 exhaust manifold fitment
- Inspect manifold mating faces for warping before installation; replace manifold studs and nuts if corroded
Vehicle Fitment
Fits Land Rover Series 1 (1595cc and 2.0 litre petrol), Series 2 and 2A (2.0 litre and 2.6 litre 6-cylinder petrol), and Series 3 (2.6 litre 6-cylinder petrol).
