Product Description
The fuel sender unit is a resistive float-arm assembly mounted inside the fuel tank that transmits fuel level data to the dashboard gauge via a variable resistance signal. This part is specified for diesel-engined Defenders only, as diesel and petrol variants use different sender units due to fuel composition compatibility requirements. A faulty sender unit typically presents as an erratic, stuck, or permanently empty fuel gauge reading, making accurate replacement essential for reliable fuel monitoring.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
