The Morel 12" Lotus Grill (MOR GR 12 LOTUS) is Morel's decorative and protective Lotus-pattern grill for 12" (300mm) subwoofers — a single grill unit featuring Morel's signature Lotus hole pattern that is both the largest grill in the Morel accessory range and an acoustically engineered component designed to protect the 12" subwoofer cone while adding zero measurable colouration to the driver's output. The natural companion for Morel's 12" Ultimo Pro, Ultimo Powerslim, Ultimo SCX, Kinetic and any other 12" Morel subwoofer in an installation where the cone face is accessible and physical protection is required.
At 12 inches, the grill covers a substantial surface area, and the Lotus pattern engineering is correspondingly important for maintaining acoustic transparency across this larger aperture. The variation in hole size and shape across the Lotus grill's surface ensures that no single resonant frequency dominates the grill's acoustic behaviour — a particularly important characteristic for a 12" subwoofer grill, where the greater surface area could otherwise create more pronounced resonant colouration than a smaller unit. The ultra-thin metalwork construction that Morel achieves through its advanced manufacturing processes means that despite protecting a large, powerful driver that moves significant volumes of air, the 12" Lotus grill remains acoustically nearly invisible. Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
