The Morel Direct Fit Mercedes Premium 2-Way Component Centre Channel Speaker Set (MOR IR ME 42 CT) is the Reference-tier DirectFit centre channel solution for select modern Mercedes-Benz models — delivering the same Hybrid-series Reference-class technology as the IR ME 42 front-door system into the Mercedes centre channel location with no modification and tool-free bracket installation. Replacing the factory Mercedes centre speaker with a 4" DPC cone woofer and 1.1" Acuflex™ tweeter on Morel's hybrid EVC™ motor design, the IR ME 42 CT anchors the front soundstage with the tonal resolution and detail that only Reference-tier components can provide.
The centre channel position in a Mercedes is acoustically critical — a centrally placed driver that, when upgraded correctly, pulls the perceived stereo image into a coherent, well-focused front stage that works for all front seating positions including the passenger seat. The IR ME 42 CT matches the driver technology of the IR ME 42 front-door system precisely, ensuring tonal consistency across the entire front stage — a single, unified sonic character from left channel, through centre, to right channel. Tool-free Mercedes-specific DirectFit mounting hardware and OEM-grade wiring connectors ensure a reversible, non-destructive installation that leaves no trace in the vehicle if removed. Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
