Product Description
The gear gaiter is the rubber or leather boot that surrounds the gear lever base, sealing the aperture in the transmission tunnel against dust, noise, and exhaust fumes entering the cabin. On the Defender, a deteriorated gaiter can allow cold air ingress, gear change rattle, and in some cases carbon monoxide infiltration from the exhaust system. Correct replacement restores the OEM seal around the gearbox and transfer case lever area and maintains cabin integrity.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
