Product Description
The fuel sender float (LR042971) is the buoyancy component within the rear fuel tank sender unit on the Discovery 4, responsible for tracking fuel level by rising and falling with the fuel surface and transmitting an accurate resistance signal to the dashboard gauge. A degraded or waterlogged float causes inaccurate or erratic fuel level readings, which can result in unexpected fuel starvation. Replacing the float separately avoids the cost of replacing the entire sender unit when the resistive track remains serviceable.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
