Replacement front engine cover assembly suitable for Land Rover 4.0L and 4.6L Rover V8 EFI engines fitted to selected Land Rover Discovery 2 and Range Rover P38 models. ERR6438 forms a critical part of the front timing and oil pump assembly, helping to protect internal engine components while ensuring correct alignment and sealing of the front end of the Rover V8 engine.
Manufactured to OE specification, this front cover is designed for engines equipped with the GEMS EFI system and early 4.0 V8 applications. The assembly incorporates the oil pump housing and provides mounting points for ancillary engine components, making it ideal for engine rebuilds, restoration projects, or replacing worn, corroded or damaged original units.
