Product Description
The Morel Elate Carbon Alto (MOR ELAT CAR ALTO) is the 28mm component tweeter at the heart of every Elate Carbon Pro system — sold here as a standalone pair for system builders, replacements, or bespoke active front-stage designs that require one of the most capable small-format tweeters in the Reference class of car audio. Its architecture is derived directly from Morel's flagship Supremo Piccolo, placing genuine flagship-lineage technology into the Elate Carbon Pro tier.
The Alto's most significant engineering achievement is its remarkably low 800 Hz resonant frequency — made possible by its cavity-back design, which uses a specially engineered and damped rear chamber to break up and absorb internal standing waves. This low resonant point allows the Alto to be crossed over at frequencies that conventional tweeters cannot safely handle, enabling a wider overlap region with the midrange or woofer and a far more coherent, seamless transition between drivers.
The 28mm dome is constructed from Acuflex™-coated silk — a proprietary Morel treatment in which a damping compound is hand-applied to the dome surface to suppress resonance peaks and control break-up modes precisely. The Hexatech™ aluminium voice coil provides the fast transient response and low mass needed for precise high-frequency detail retrieval. Power handling is rated to 220W RMS.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.

International orders are typically shipped via DHL, UPS of FedEx. For some destinations, we may require a manual quote before enabling checkout.
