The Morel Hybrid 4" 2-Way Component Speaker Set (MOR HYBRID 42) is the compact entry point into the fifth-generation Hybrid range — pairing the MT300 tweeter with a 4" (100mm) ultra-slim EVC™ woofer and MXR passive crossover to create a complete, Reference-class 2-way front-stage system in the smallest woofer format in the Hybrid lineup. With an ultra-shallow woofer mounting depth of just 41.5mm (1.63"), the Hybrid 42 is the definitive solution for installations where space behind the door panel is severely restricted but where Reference-tier performance cannot be compromised.
Now in their fifth generation, the Hybrid systems have been continuously refined over more than fifteen years to achieve what many regard as Morel's most musically natural and emotionally engaging sound. The Hybrid 42 embodies this character in full — the warm, smooth highs of the Acuflex™-coated MT300 tweeter balanced against the dynamic, articulate bass of the Hybrid 4" EVC™ woofer, all integrated via the precision MXR240.4 passive crossover. The innovative Hybrid magnet system — combining ferrite and neodymium magnets — drives the 2.1" Hexatech™ aluminium EVC™ voice coil with exceptional linearity, while the one-piece DPC cone ensures self-damped, coloration-free reproduction. Morel's C.A.R™ filter improves acoustic loading in the door environment, improving power handling by up to 30%.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
