The Morel Hybrid 6.5" 2-Way Component Speaker Set (MOR HYBRID 62) is the most popular and widely installed configuration in the fifth-generation Hybrid range — pairing the MT300 tweeter with a 6.5" (165mm) EVC™ Hybrid woofer and MXR passive crossover to deliver the full Hybrid performance character in the standard front-door format. Celebrated by many as one of the finest-sounding component speaker systems Morel produces at any price, the Hybrid 62 in its fifth generation represents over fifteen years of continuous refinement and remains a benchmark of musicality, warmth and dynamic precision in the Reference class.
The 6.5" Hybrid woofer is powered by Morel's innovative dual-magnet Hybrid motor system — combining ferrite and neodymium magnets in a single, unconventional motor configuration. The 2.1" Hexatech™ aluminium EVC™ voice coil outside the motor structure provides high linear excursion and efficient heat dissipation. The one-piece DPC (Damped Polymer Composite) cone and dustcap produces the warm, natural tonal character that distinguishes Hybrid bass from more clinical-sounding alternatives. Morel's C.A.R™ filter mimics cabinet acoustic loading in the free-air door environment, improving bass dynamics and power handling by up to 30%. Sensitivity is 90 dB at 2.83V/1m with power handling of 140W RMS.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
