The Morel Hybrid MW5 (MOR HYBRID MW5) is a 5.25" (130mm) component mid-range woofer, supplied as a matched pair, from the fifth-generation Hybrid range — for system builders constructing bespoke Hybrid-based active or custom multi-way front-stage systems. Built on the same Hybrid magnet motor system, EVC™ architecture and DPC cone construction as the complete Hybrid component sets, the MW5 delivers the full Hybrid performance character in a standalone driver format.
At the core of every Hybrid woofer is the innovative Hybrid magnet system — a dual-motor design combining a ferrite magnet with a high-strength neodymium magnet. This combination allows Morel to extract the best from both magnet types: the neodymium element contributes compact size and high flux density while the ferrite element extends the linear operating range. The EVC™ motor positions a 2.1" Hexatech™ aluminium voice coil outside the motor structure. The one-piece DPC (Damped Polymer Composite) cone and dustcap provides a single-piece radiating surface with high inherent self-damping. Morel's C.A.R™ filter is integrated into the cast aluminium basket, improving acoustic loading in free-air door installations and tightening bass dynamics and power handling.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.

International orders are typically shipped via DHL, UPS of FedEx. For some destinations, we may require a manual quote before enabling checkout.
