Morel MPS Limited 1100W Monoblock Class D Subwoofer Amplifier
Product Description
The Morel MPS Limited 1100W Monoblock Class D Subwoofer Amplifier (MOR MPS 1.1100 LTD) is the flagship subwoofer amplifier from Morel's Reference-tier MPS Limited Edition range — a 1,100W monoblock Class D amplifier developed to commemorate Morel's 45th anniversary and designed to set a new standard in the sonic performance, build quality and functional versatility available in a car audio monoblock amplifier. For the true audiophile who refuses to allow amplifier shortcomings to limit the performance of a Reference-tier speaker or subwoofer system, the MPS 1.1100 Limited is the definitive choice.
HiFi purity begins at the signal input of the MPS Limited. All connections are gold plated — including special chassis-mounted RCA connections and robust power and speaker wire connections — and the internal signal path has been meticulously designed using components selected for superior performance. At the centre of this signal path are the famed Burr-Brown OPA2134 op-amps: audiophile-grade operational amplifiers whose remarkably natural and detailed sonic profile sets the MPS Limited apart from conventional car audio amplifiers immediately on first listen. Low-tolerance surface mount components and WIMA metallised film capacitors preserve the integrity of the original signal as it flows through to the Class D amplifier stage, where 1,100W of subwoofer power is generated with the efficiency and low distortion that Class D topology provides. The MPS 1.1100 LTD includes cast aluminium end caps with removable plates designed for stackable installation using the optional MPS-STKP stacking plates — allowing multiple MPS Limited amplifiers to be mounted vertically to minimise floor space in multi-amplifier active system builds.
- Burr-Brown OPA2134 op-amps throughout the signal path — audiophile-grade operational amplifiers deliver a remarkably natural, detailed sonic profile that sets the MPS Limited apart from any conventional car audio amplifier
- Gold-plated connections, WIMA film capacitors, low-tolerance SMD components — every connection and component chosen for superior performance and signal integrity; Reference-tier build quality from input to output
- 1,100W Class D monoblock — powerful, efficient subwoofer amplification with audiophile-grade input stage; developed to commemorate Morel's 45th anniversary
- Stackable cast aluminium end caps — removable plates allow multiple MPS Limited amplifiers to be stacked using MPS-STKP plates for minimal floor space in active multi-amplifier builds
For the 2-channel MPS Limited amplifier see MOR MPS 2.150 LTD. Accessories: MOR MPS HL (speaker-to-RCA adaptor), MOR MPS R1 (remote bass control), MOR MPS STKP (stacking plate).
