Product Description
The Morel MPS Amplifier Stack Plate (MOR MPS STKP) is the stacking hardware accessory for Morel's MPS and MPS Limited amplifier ranges — a set of precision-machined plates that attach to the cast aluminium end caps of two MPS amplifiers and allow them to be mounted vertically on top of each other as a single stacked unit. In multi-amplifier active system builds where both the MPS 1.550 subwoofer monoblock and MPS 4.400 4-channel amplifier are required — or where a pair of MPS Limited Edition amplifiers are used together — the STKP allows both units to occupy the floor space of a single amplifier, a significant benefit in installations where enclosure or boot space is tight.
The MPS and MPS Limited amplifier chassis are designed with this stacking capability in mind: the cast aluminium end caps include removable plates that expose a standardised mounting interface, and the STKP stacking plates attach securely to both amplifier pairs via these interfaces, forming a rigid, secure stacked assembly. The stacked configuration does not compromise the thermal management of either amplifier — both chassis retain their cooling fin geometry and air circulation paths — and the compact vertical footprint makes routing power, ground and signal cables to both amplifiers clean and orderly. The STKP is particularly valuable in builds using multiple MPS Limited Edition amplifiers for a fully active Reference-tier speaker system, where the ability to stack units keeps the installation neat and minimises the physical footprint of the amplifier section.
- Allows two MPS amplifiers to be stacked vertically — halves the floor space occupied by a two-amplifier system; essential for tight boot and enclosure installations
- Precision-machined end cap mounting hardware — attaches to the removable plates on MPS and MPS Limited cast aluminium end caps; secure, rigid stacked assembly
- Compatible with MPS and MPS Limited Edition amplifiers — MOR MPS 5.950, MOR MPS 4.400, MOR MPS 1.550, MOR MPS 1.1100 LTD and MOR MPS 2.150 LTD
- Does not compromise thermal management — both amplifiers retain full cooling fin geometry and air circulation; clean, orderly cable routing to both units in the stacked configuration
For the remote bass control see MOR MPS R1. For the speaker-to-RCA adaptor see MOR MPS HL.
