Morel Crossover for Virtus Nano 2-Way Component Speakers
Product Description
The Morel MXR200.4 (MOR MXR200.4) is the dedicated 2-way passive crossover network for the Virtus Nano Carbon component speaker range — the precision filter network supplied with every passive Virtus Nano 2-way system and available separately for system builders and as a replacement unit. Part of Morel's MXR (Crossover Resolution) system, the MXR200.4 is engineered to integrate the MT120N tweeter and Virtus Nano EVC™ woofer into a seamless, phase-coherent 2-way system with minimum insertion loss and maximum preservation of the drivers' natural tonal character.
The MXR200.4 is also compatible with Hybrid 2-way systems (see MOR MXR250.4I for the shared Hybrid/Virtus Nano crossover variant) — its component values and crossover frequency chosen to work with the closely related impedance and sensitivity profiles of both product families. Built with high-quality passive components as part of Morel's Crossover Resolution system, the MXR200.4 features screw-terminal inputs and outputs for secure, low-resistance connections, and a tweeter output level adjustment for installation-specific tonal balance control. The compact housing allows flexible placement in door cavities, behind trim panels or in custom enclosures. Active crossover points for the Virtus Nano 2-way system: tweeter high-pass at 2,500 Hz (12 dB/octave); woofer low-pass at 2,500 Hz (12 dB/octave).
- Dedicated 2-way crossover for Virtus Nano Carbon systems — filter frequencies and component values chosen specifically for the MT120N tweeter and Nano EVC™ woofer for seamless driver integration
- MXR Crossover Resolution construction — high-quality passive components for minimum insertion loss, tight tolerance and long-term performance stability
- Tweeter level adjustment — allows high-frequency balance optimisation for the specific vehicle installation and listening position
- Screw-terminal connectivity and compact housing — secure, low-resistance connections; flexible placement in tight door cavities or behind trim panels
Included as standard in all passive Virtus Nano Carbon 2-way component sets. For the 3-way crossover see MOR MXR130. For the shared Hybrid/Virtus Nano crossover see MOR MXR250.4I.
