The Morel MXT280C (MOR MXT280C) is the dedicated 2-way passive crossover network for the Elate Carbon component speaker range — the precision-engineered electronic heart of every passive Elate Carbon 2-way system, and available separately for system builders requiring replacement or additional crossover units. Designed and voiced specifically to work with the MT450 tweeter and Elate Carbon EVC™ woofers, the MXT280C ensures that the frequency division between drivers is handled with accuracy, phase integrity and minimal insertion loss.
Morel's approach to crossover design goes beyond simple component selection. Each MXT crossover is developed in conjunction with the drivers it is intended to cross over — the filter slopes, crossover frequencies and component tolerances are chosen to complement the specific impedance behaviour, sensitivity and frequency response characteristics of the MT450 tweeter and Elate Carbon woofers as a system. The MXT280C is built with high-quality passive components — inductors, capacitors and resistors selected for low internal resistance, tight tolerance and long-term stability. Screw-terminal inputs and outputs ensure a secure, low-resistance connection to amplifier and driver wiring.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.

International orders are typically shipped via DHL, UPS of FedEx. For some destinations, we may require a manual quote before enabling checkout.

Some couriers may charge additional fees to handle customs clearance on your behalf.
