The Morel Accudamp Universal Speaker Surround — 6 Per Pack (MOR SPK6) is Morel's acoustic damping surround for speaker installations — a pack of six Accudamp pads designed to be applied around the perimeter of the speaker mounting aperture in a vehicle door or panel to seal the gap between the speaker basket and the mounting surface, improve the acoustic coupling between speaker and door, and reduce the transmission of mechanical vibration and resonance into the door panel structure. A simple, affordable and highly effective upgrade that improves the quality of any speaker installation, Accudamp surrounds are compatible with virtually any speaker brand or model and are particularly beneficial in installations where door panel resonance or bass leakage around the speaker mounting aperture is audible.
When a speaker is mounted in a vehicle door without a proper acoustic seal, several acoustic problems arise simultaneously: air leaks around the speaker basket allow low-frequency energy to escape from the rear of the driver back into the door cavity and recombine destructively with the front output, reducing bass output and clarity; the door panel itself is excited by the speaker's mechanical energy and begins to resonate at its own natural frequencies, adding coloration and noise to the sound; and the speaker basket's contact with the door panel transmits vibration directly into the panel structure. Accudamp surrounds address all three issues: they form an airtight seal that prevents rear-wave leakage, they decouple the speaker basket from the panel structure to reduce vibration transmission, and they damp the resonant behaviour of the panel in the immediate vicinity of the speaker mounting. The result is tighter, deeper bass, less panel noise and a cleaner overall sound from any speaker in any door installation. Pack contains 6 surrounds.

Shipping & Returns
UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
