Morel Ultimo SCX 10" (250mm) Subwoofer 2 Ohm DVC
Product Description
The Morel Ultimo SCX 10" 2 Ohm DVC Subwoofer (MOR ULTIMO SCX 102) is the 10-inch format of Morel's new 2026 Reference-tier SC-X series — a high-performance dual voice coil subwoofer that delivers the power and precision of the Ultimo engineering lineage at a price point that brings genuine Reference-class bass within reach of a broader range of audiophile builds. Designed for enthusiasts who demand both power and musical precision, the Ultimo SC-X combines Morel's advanced motor architecture with innovative new suspension and cone engineering to produce controlled, clean, authoritative bass with exceptional clarity.
At the heart of the SC-X is a massive 5.1" Hexatech™ aluminium voice coil paired with an aluminium former — a combination engineered for efficient heat dissipation, piston-like linear motion, and the high power handling expected of a Morel Reference-tier subwoofer. Morel's innovative DMM™ (Double Magnet Motor) system maximises magnetic field efficiency, boosting power handling while minimising distortion across the driver's operating bandwidth. The hybrid carbon fibre and paper composite cone adds structural strength and acoustic damping, providing a highly controlled and accurate bass response without break-up or distortion. A new suspension system delivers impressive excursion and dynamic range, making the SC-X ideal for both musical precision in sealed enclosures and high-output performance in ported designs. Available in 2 Ohm DVC for maximum current delivery from a wide range of amplifiers. Available in 10" and 12" sizes.
