Product Description
The left-hand gearbox mount is a rubber-bonded bracket that secures the transmission to the vehicle's chassis on the left side, isolating drivetrain vibration and maintaining correct gearbox alignment. On Defender and Discovery 2 applications, a deteriorated mount allows the gearbox to shift under load, causing driveline vibration, gear selection difficulty, and accelerated wear on adjacent components including prop shafts and transfer case linkages. Replacement should be carried out promptly when rubber cracking, splitting, or subsidence is observed.

UK Mainland Delivery
We aim to dispatch all UK Mainland orders on the same or next working day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on the time your order is placed.
For special order items, dispatch is typically within 3–5 working days. These items are clearly marked within the product description.
Delivery Charges & Minimum Order
Product prices are displayed according to the customer’s location. UK customers will generally see prices inclusive of VAT, while customers outside the UK will generally see prices without UK VAT.
We do not have a minimum order value; however, our minimum delivery charge includes packaging and handling costs and cannot be reduced.
Tracked Courier Options
UK Mainland delivery varies, but is typically £10-15.00 + VAT. Some items may qualify for free delivery where margin allows.
Economy Regions include Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight, and Northern Ireland.
