As well as our ever-popular hybrid GT20 TD5 turbo we also have options for bespoke Garrett VNT Turbos (Variable-geometry/nozzle turbochargers).
Our VNT Turbos are completely bespoke & custom made to suit your requirements and are a bolt-on upgrade option for any TD5 turbo using the standard oil return pipe & gasket, as well as fitting the standard exhaust manifold and CAT/down pipe. A new flexible oil feed pipe will be supplied within the kit by none other than HEL.
The benefits of a VNT are that they contribute to higher torque levels, particularly at low engine speed, and help deliver more power across a wider range, better acceleration through improved pickup and transient response. And our TD5 VNT turbos do exactly just that.
Setup on the ‘flow rig’ bench for optimal flow these turbos can make serious power along with a supporting remap & modifications including FMIC Intercooler, EGR Delete, Sports Exhaust, de-webbed manifold, performance air filter etc. Don’t be too concerned about the standard TD5 air-box being ‘restrictive’. We’ve seen these produce north of 200bhp without issue without modification.
