Range Rover Rear Brake Disc Brake discs are an essential part of your Land Rover's braking system. They consist of either solid or ventilated metal rotors attached to your wheels that provide a friction surface for the brake pads to squeeze on when the brake pedal is depressed. This friction slows your car down quickly and safely. Brake discs are heavy-duty pieces of kit that should last for many years under normal use. Brake discs should generally last for 2 or 3 sets of brake pads. Unfortunately, however, brake discs corrode or can become dented and warped.
