Lazer Lamps Sentinel 9" LED Spotlight - Black
New for 2021, the Sentinel range are 9” round lamps that combine distinctive high-end product design, with superior lighting performance and build quality symbolic of the Lazer Lamps name. Available in Standard or Elite grades, the former incorporates 20 high power LEDs and comes available with either a black or chrome finish inside the lamp. The Elite product by comparison is only available with the black internal appearance, but with a combination of 32 high power LEDs, represents the very best lighting performance as expected from a product bearing the ‘Elite’ tag.
Both Sentinel Black and Chrome lamps, in the ‘Standard’ range, produce the same lighting performance. Emitting 9,529 raw lumens, the lamps deliver 1 lux reaching to over 700m; impressive in itself, but considering the 52 degrees horizontal beam angle, this is a product that has been designed to deliver maximum visibility for all manner of road and off-road use. Like all Lazer products, the colour temperature at a pleasant 5000K is easy on the eye, while maximising sharpness and definition of objects ahead. The lamp is UNECE approved to Regulation 112 as a high beam driving light, through adoption of Lazer’s dual output E-Boost technology; operating at 100% the light output is beyond the permissible limit of the ECE regulations, so removing the supplied Boost Cap from the back of the lamp reduces the light output to be within the allowable limit.
The stealth design of the black variant of the Sentinel lamp is achieved through the adoption of black printed circuit boards, and black bezel feature with intricate hexagonal design detail for a unique, contemporary appearance. Within the lamp, there is the option to connect white or amber position/side light function, for an even more distinct look, with the white version approved to UNECE Regulation 7.
The lamps are supplied with a ‘slim’ diecast aluminium mounting bracket, which like the lamps themselves has an automotive-grade pre-treatment before being powder coated satin black, for a product protected against aesthetic deterioration or corrosion. An alternative ‘wide’ mounting bracket, along with a range of: lens covers, stay bar kit, and anti-theft fasteners, are available as optional accessories.
As with all Lazer products, the Sentinel lamps have been designed, engineered, and are manufactured in-house, in the UK. There is no compromise in regards component parts, or build processes to achieve a superior product, while simultaneously ensuring that more than ever, environmental stewardship and an ambitious carbon-reduction program have also featured heavily in the Sentinel products design and build.

* 'Start-up time' is the delay between the lamp receiving voltage, and light being emitted. Different Lazer lamps have different start-up times, depending on their electrical architecture, so we recommend that if you are buying two different types of Lazer lamp, for mounting on to the same vehicle, that you ensure you pick products with matching start-up time (either 5ms or 100ms, depending on the product).
